Just The Tea FAQs: Health Benefits (Part I)

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Hands up who does not receive all day without their shots of coffee ... Ah, yes, many of us then! Call it an espresso, cappuccino or regular coffee with it if it is not caffeine, our central nervous jump, decaffeinated coffee to its own beat as much as we know. But while the jury may still be made if the long-term coffee consumption is harmful to our health as a much healthier and more readily available in shops, cafes andRestaurants near you - tea.

A third less caffeine than coffee, tea health original. Even before the birth of Christ to the people of China have held a reputation for medicinal products of tea quality, conversion is growing tea (and tea), what form of art will only be described as a. More than two thousand years later, and Western science is now beginning to show only what the Chinese have always been - you know that tea is good for us!

HealthBenefits of Tea

The tea is made from buds and leaves of evergreen tea plant, Camellia sinensis or derivatives to give him his correct name Latin. This is a Bush-native tropical and subtropical Asia, and is the father of six different types of tea, said White Tea, green tea, yellow tea, Oolong Tea, Red and Black Tea. Each type of tea is the degree of processing - ie, the duration of fermentation and combustion observed - that put the tea leaves and buds, white tea (theless processed) and black tea (mostly) located at opposite ends of the spectrum, processed tea.

But regardless of which tea is chosen, each beer leaves implies that Medicare and health would be proud. Lowering stronger teeth and bones, the risk of certain cancers, tea seems to actually have a positive impact on the health of people drinking.

So why tea is so good for us? According to the latest research, it is after alla trio of health promotion properties, which is a cup of tea: -

Polyphenols

Tea contains about 4,000 chemical nature, many of which are classified as polyphenols. Tea polyphenols protect Bush and his growth, the tea leaves from infection by diseases. Furthermore, the strengthening of the plant against the harmful effects of UV rays and help plant the seeds to germinate.

For men this is the subgroup of tea polyphenols such as flavonoids, the most important notein relation to health. Flavonoids are natural antioxidants that cleanse the body of oxygen and nitrogen free radicals. These chemical creatures, if left unchecked, can cause damage to body tissues, accelerating the aging process and opening the door to diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's disease and cataracts. Flavonoids neutralize this threat interaction with the unpaired electron in free radicals, making the threat.

In tea, catechins (especially epigallocatechinGallate (ECCG), up to 50% of the content of catechins in green tea may be) and tannins are flavonoids that are really walking the walk. As antioxidants, some are 25-100 times more potent than vitamin C and vitamin E, and research studies indicate that their anti-tumor properties may contribute to the risk of skin cancer, stomach cancer, oral cancer and colon cancer . Recent work by a Japanese group at the Aichi Cancer Center have discovered that even in catechinsGreen tea reduced the risk of recurrence in early breast cancer. The biggest result of cancer, it is true in the field of lung cancer. One study reported that only reduce a cup of black tea a day, the risk of developing lung cancer by 50%.

Surprisingly, the health benefits of tea polyphenols, however, do not let matters rest. Flavonoids protect against heart disease and stroke by inhibiting the oxidation of LDL cholesterol - bad cholesterol, which is a precursorto athersclerosis and high blood pressure. In some animal studies of tea flavonoids have also been shown to reduce blood fat and blood vessel performance.

Flavonoids also have antibacterial properties after scientists showed that tea polyphenols give us a greater immunity against bacterial infections such as salmonella. Even Weight Watchers have in recent years, researchers from the U.S. and Switzerland are happy to announce that the catechins in green tea mayPromote the consumption of fats and beyond what one would expect of caffeine. It 'clear for some time that tea, but as in itself does not contain calories. But now it seems that tea has found itself in a more central role in the diet of some regimes around the world!

Fluoride

The second member of our trio is beneficial fluoride. In addition to effective prevention of dental caries experienced a lot of fluoride in tea leaves, is pulled under the nutrients from the soil bytea plant during growth. Produced by tea contains between 0.5 ppm of fluoride and 6ppm, approximately 0.3 mg - 0.5 mg of fluoride standard cup of tea - certainly enough to decay to protect against cavities. Recent research has also suggested that fluoride in tea may help keep bones strong!

Water

Water is vital. It helps our body to regulate body temperature and to carry oxygen to our organs. Keep our water level is increasedan important part of a balanced diet, and we recommend 2.5 to 3.5 liters of water are consumed every day to achieve this goal.

Contrary to popular belief, a cup of tea makes a positive contribution to our daily needs, hydrated, provided that drinking tea in moderation at each meeting. The diuretic effect of tea is inextricably linked with the consumption of caffeine, and it is only when you consume a dose of 250mg-300mg of caffeine for a short time there will be no negative impact on ourWater balance. A standard cup of tea contains about 50 mg of caffeine, we drank up to 5 or 6 cups at a time for tea to be as damaging to our fluid intake.

Returning to nature

Adoption of a simple, healthy lifestyle is, of course, a goal that many of us dearly. Let's go back to nature, but sometimes easier said than done when there is a sea of conflicting information about what is and is not good for us. But we have our teaChampion. Years of research have demonstrated this by it to the top of the table with respect to natural health drinks. With further evidence that tea is healthy to materialize almost certainly in the coming years is not time you took a tea break?

China - America's First Choice for adoption

Image : http://www.flickr.com

More than any other country, Americans turn couples, China for adoption. Since 1992, nearly 50,000 American families Chinese orphans placed in their hearts and homes. Why adopt? Why China?

The adoption issue is simple. The Americans are coming on family life. Many couples, unable to grow their families through more traditional media, face the choice between adoption and Medical Solutions. The defeat doctor is often physicallyensure drainage and emotional, always expensive and rare. While adoption has its share of emotional and financial challenges, its results can be predicted better, especially if the acceptance of China.

Why China? The reasons are many, beginning with the availability. There are many orphaned children for adoption in China. In 1970, China implemented a policy of family planning. The policy, legally restrict theNumber of children allowed per couple is to help very effectively to reverse their bitter poverty. A side effect of the policy - a substantial increase in the number of Chinese orphans.

One might think that the problems of poverty, orphans Chinese were at increased risk of health problems. Not so. Chinese orphans have to be very healthy. Harvard University recently conducted a study which showed that the orphans in China are much healthier than theircounterparts in another country. Most of China's birth mothers an easy country to live or live on a farm with little or no contact with drugs and crime. After the adoption of abandoned orphans in China provides individualized care in an institution against Russia has offered in many other countries, for example.

Everyone must travel nightmare stories of adoptive parents hoping to Russia three, four, five times back spending untold amounts of time and money, only heard emptypast with a broken heart, and no satisfactory explanation from the authorities of the host country government. Not so in adoption from China.

The United States and China have enjoyed many years of regular cooperation of the government on U.S. citizens adopting Chinese orphans resulting in very convenient and organized recruitment process closely the Chinese Centre for Adoption Affairs (CCAA).

The ACPC severs all parentsThe rights of Chinese orphans consult before issuing the child for adoption, so there is virtually no wait. Trip to China to get one is needed for couples and a few days, will be responsible for child care. Adoptions are finalized in China within the shortest period in which both adoptive parents are present. China promotes its proven method to match children with parents the right to matchCharacteristics and non-birth mothers choose adoptive parents the couple.

And finally, the Chinese government has made safe for Americans to travel to China to adopt. You have to protect visiting strict laws and serious consequences for couples, and has imposed on all foreign tourists.

American families to keep their hand more recently, China and looking to be rewarded.

Adoption by gay couples

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Gay rights has become a hotly debated topic in recent years. Most people agree that gay couples gay and deserve the same rights as any other, but there are still people with strong opposing views. This is especially true when it is adopted.

Gay rights are equal in many areas of civil associations, a major victory for gay rights activists acknowledged. Citizens' initiatives have been introduced in Britain in 2005 and are a form ofHomosexual couples to register their cooperation and the marriage with a different name. It was a way to a kind of institution of marriage to legalize gay, but it moves the argument that marriage should be for the male-female couples only.

Sex is also the assumption that an area has been monitored heavily, and that produces a lot of discussion. Some think they should not have the same rights in all areas and therefore the adoption of the same sex should be legal, while otherstotally against it. This includes many religious groups, especially the Catholic Church. The United Kingdom is one of the many countries where the adoption of the same sex is now legal in most countries are bringing in similar legislation at any time.

Here are some points that are important on both sides of the argument for gay adoption.

Procedures for

There are many children waiting for approval, so that makes sense to use gay couples just want to say goodbye.
One of the main points raised against the adoption of the same sex is that children need role models for men and women. But the traditional family is not as widespread as in the past, and therefore many children do not grow with both biological parents anyway.
It is morally certain that gay couples couples should have the right to take directly to the same.
o There is no reason why gays can not have good parents.

Arguments against

It is better for the childrengrow with a model of male and female roles. Even when parents separate, children are, in most cases.
Children can be victims, the parents are gay.
The children can suffer psychologically, by purchase with a homosexual couple.

The question is asked, what is more important for the adoption?

The most important thing is that children are loved and cared for, and therefore it is important that one of male, one female, one which they were acquiredeach, or two? And sex in a person's ability to raise children is important? If the answer to these questions is no, then suggests that the adoption for gay couples must be enabled.

Most of the arguments against the adoption of the same sex can not be undone.

Many have said that the best thing to buy just the children of two biological parents, but many do not stay together anyway.
The emotional problems can result from being bought by gay parents arise - manyStudies carried out on microscope shows that in general there are no psychological effects.
be acquired in a stable family, the best for the children - but civil associations may be as stable as marriage.

LEGAL

Before the scheme came into force a person was able to adopt a child. This meant that the adopted child could live with this person and her partner, even if they were in a same-sex relationship. It wasSituations where a cheerful woman become pregnant through artificial insemination and the child to live with her and her companion. That gave an advantage to all the people lesbian couples and couples. In many ways, it was possible for gay couples to raise children.

New laws were implemented in 2006, so that same-sex couples can jointly adopt a child. There are strict rules for acceptance, but are the same for gay couples and heterosexuals.

Many adoption agencieshave connections with religious groups. These compounds have refused to allow Catholic adoption by homosexual couples. This was banned in June 2009. Many of these organizations, she said the decision to close the adoption for gay couples. However, most are met with the standards.

Real Economy is Physical

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Economics is an engineering challenge

The Wall Street vs Main Street dichotomy has been so overused in the news that it is sickening. It is time to replace this loaded married couple terminology with another. The first reason for this is that WS vs MS split has now become a political slogan and a heuristic and thus does not promote thoughtfulness. The second more important reason is that it obscures the reality of what the real economy is.

"Wall Street" has come to symbolize just meaningless paper shuffling gambling that is the financial sector. "Main Street" apparently includes everything else such as telemarketing, McDonalds service, prostitution, web design, and of course industrial production. Politicians tend to lump service industry like catering (and other demeaning unpleasant tasks that poor people are forced into to not die of starvation or exposure) and actual industry like engine part manufacture together. Since financial sector is a service sector (smart people overworking in mind numbing meaningless tasks to make the rich richer) we see how WS vs MS is not a real dichotomy at all due to the enormous overlap in classification.

Will the real economy please stand up?

I have written how the field of economics the way we know it today is so wasteful and separated from real empirical investigation as to require the term stupid. Any Western Economics 101 course will still dutifully inform that it is a study on how to deal with allocation of finite resources. In that, economists not only failed but have made the global situation much worse. Western economists are not only as ideological as Soviet economists were but have now devolved to the level of historians who study past moves made by powerful/wealthy people. When they are not busy defending themselves as real scientists through utilization of advanced statistics (to study decisions made by oligarchs as if they were orbits of planets) they are cheerleaders and cautious financial planners for rich people who don't like to think. An analogy can be made with French generals confident that the Maginot line will hold against the tried and true offensive methods. It is no surprise that in the latest crisis of capitalism, most people regardless of their class have lost money. Economics today is not only failing the poor but a large portion of the very rich as well (who then find themselves one day with only the grand stories of their parents).

The term economics has been tainted to such a degree that it may be too late to reclaim it. Lets look at the definition of another word and see if it has any application to dealing in a world of finite material and human resources.

"Engineering - The creative application of scientific principles to design or develop structures, machines, apparatus, or manufacturing processes, or works utilizing them singly or in combination; or to construct or operate the same with full cognizance of their design; or to forecast their behavior under specific operating conditions; all as respects an intended function, economics of operation and safety to life and property."

Now we're getting somewhere. It appears that economists have wanted to be engineers all along but at some point wandered off into the land of the stupid in an effort to create some ideological justification for the Cold War (follow the money trail of rich people or their puppet government organs funding the research of these brave "scientists"). Of course after a couple of generations (of economics being a creative attempt to demonstrate to the world why Western oligarchy should continue) this mutated pseudo-science has become entrenched. Youngsters on the scene either would not be hired to teach if they disagreed with the pseudo-science faculty or wanted to demonstrate how much of the nonsense they understand and thus left their brain at the door to please the older generations of these so called academics.

Most people assume that the point of economic advice would be to make everybody better off materially in the end. This means make everybody in either one nation, region, or the whole world have more access and control over resources which in turn would make the average human being on the planet healthier, more educated, happier, and better able to make use of his or her physiological talents for self-actualization or profit.

Only engineering can do that. Humanity's only way of dealing with finite resources is to better utilize these resources. This requires ever rising level of energy available to humanity to operate machines. The process is very simple:

1) Always develop new ways to make construction of power plants faster and cheaper. One assumes mass scale production of parts to make power plants. The goal is to pop them out like one does a supercomputer with periodic retooling as better machines to make parts are invented (Japanese lead the way currently in replacing even the cheapest of human assembly line workers so factories can run almost full time).

2) Keep increasing production of ever more efficient and powerful power plants.

3) Utilize ever rising levels of energy to extract, refine/recycle, and put into use ever rising quantity of natural resources for mass construction of high tech farms throughout the world. With enough energy and materials enclosed farming with artificial sunshine/weather control is more than possible from the Sahara desert to the frozen tundras. Keep increasing numbers and quality of these farms until vast majority of people spend almost no caloric energy and productive time working to feed themselves. Keep in mind that organic chemical free food in these farms is only a question of cheap energy and materials. There is absolutely no need to send food thousands of miles across the planet and stuff it full of preservatives so this mummified food survives the journey.

4) Utilize same rising level of energy and labor freed from farming to build ever rising number of high tech places of learning throughout the world. Keep improving the efficiency of these places of learning as one does the farms. One assumes a type of modular construction so parts of the places of learning and the high tech farms can be recycled every few years and replaced with newer systems.

5) Utilize the mind power of billions of newly educated people to build better systems of power plant part production to keep churning out more energy generating sources and to reorganize socioeconomics to that end.

Rinse repeat. Rinse repeat. Rinse repeat. Rinse repeat. Rinse repeat until the solar system is colonized and humanity is in a post-scarcity transhuman world. Keep constructing better energy sources beyond this point as well naturally.

All human politics should be directed towards power generation. This means more engineers and scientists in government instead of lawyer playboys. Chinese leadership is full of engineers and this is reflected in China's growth rate. Current batch of economists should be driven out of government policy decision making as one would drive out the clergy giving advise to the government. Every government should have an engineering ministry and we should hear of "president's engineering advisers" instead of economic advisers. This is the only way to prevent large scale starvation for a large part of humanity in the relatively near future (not even mentioning maintaining living standards).

The side effects of such energy driven policy would of course be the possibility of other engineering marvels in the aid of construction of the power plants and places of learning. Some examples are frictionless magnetic levitation transport methods. Even today, high speed trains are already cutting into airline profits as seen by 80% drop in airfares in parts of China. To make full circle, the goal of economics should always have been to allow humans to spend next to zero caloric energy on travel, food, education, safe/pleasant shelter, etc. Instead humanity saw a worsening of their situation where even people in the Western oligarchies spend a lot of their caloric energy to get paper to exchange for traveling from point A to point B. If this continues only the rich will be able to have relatively pleasant transcontinental travel (with the poor being crammed into large slow moving ships like in the 19th century if they scrape enough for a ticket).

The goal of all governments historically is to constantly raise the minimum level of material comfort for their citizenry. This means an energy driven policy. Governments that fail in this goal are always replaced sooner or later. The transition period from today to tomorrow will require all efforts towards nuclear power. Even the American oligarchs understand the precariousness of their position as shown by president Obama's adoption of McCain's nuclear energy policy in his state of the union speech. Yes, solar has to be pursued but only as a bell and whistle to the nuclear power plant production. If one looks at how much land area is needed for wind/solar (and power needed to extract resources to then make parts for the wind/solar machines) to make as much energy one modern power plant, there is no contest. Green tech today is but another bubble for Wall Street and is a dead end economically and environmentally (solar for instance requires enormous amount of water that could be used to produce nutrient rich food).

Nuclear energy power plants provide the most energy bang for the energy buck. Building them is better/cleaner for the planet and the only chance humanity has to live until fusion reactors and space based power supplies are constructed and are operational. It is no wonder that British oligarchy are completely against them as they want to promote "conservation" rather than expansion and thus preservation of the current nasty neo-feudal world order. Americans in the 1950s understood the possibilities of nuclear power and that is why they thought we'd be in a drastically different place today as a species. If we stop listening to economists and expose them as the charlatans that they are, it is still possible. The only main street is material industrial production with energy generation as primary focus.

Lifebooks & Adoption: Tips for Dealing with Secrets

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Secrets...we all have them. Adoptive families have too many, it seems. I'm tired of keeping secrets. They're too much work. They clutter up the relationship section of my soul. Who knows what pieces; how much do they know?

I was an adopted child of the 1950s--a dark time for adoption. Social workers instructed adoptive parents not to discuss adoption. I was raised on 'secrets,' which made it hard to feel real and 'a part of.' Today, things are different. Aren't they?

A secret for one family is dinner table discussion for another; much of how you communicate is learned from your family of origin. No one starts off parenting with a plan to deceive a child. Families fall into these dark spots by accident. It's that age-old parental desire to 'protect' that is a prime motivator.

Who wants their child to feel pain? To feel different, or somehow 'less than'? There is never a good time to disclose many difficult facts. But waiting can turn information into a secret. Suddenly, what was innocently tucked away is now under lock and key.

Here are a few questions to help you assess your child's history and whether or not to hold back:

The proactive approach, often via a Lifebook, typically works best to solve this problem. Get free tips on lifebook creation on my website.

1. Who else has this information? What is the likelihood that it can be discovered or disclosed accidentally?

2. If your child finds out later, how will s/he feel? Will s/he still be able to trust you?

3. Is this a custom common to all adoptions in the country where your child was born? For example, in China, most babies are 'found' somewhere...but this does not change the fact that adopted children of Chinese origin will eventually ask, "Where was I found?" And whether you use the word 'abandoned' is another article!

4. How well can you lie? An innocent cover story eventually becomes a lie. Will your child sense this? How will you feel? Will this affect respect and communication?

5. Is this something your child may figure out alone, without your support? This danger exists around such realities as the existence of birth mothers and birth fathers, the fact that only girls seem to be adopted from China, and that sometimes birth mothers later have, and try to parent, additional children.

6. Might the information be damaging to your child's self esteem right now? Do you plan to discuss it later? Plant a seed. Try saying, "This is something we will talk about when you're older." But ask yourself; is it too hard for you or for your child?

7. Is this something you think the outside world will judge? Try to evaluate which is more important, your child's ability to trust in and attach to you, or the potential fallout from the outside world.

8. Is the birth fact something that other children will know about? For example, many school-age children are told that internationally adopted children come from orphanages. Who can protect your child from racial jeers or insults about Orphan Annie? Be pro-active.

9. Is it possible that a child might hear this information differently? Adults have years of experiential input and developed values, whereas a child might simply take in the information without judgment.

10. Is it a secret through omission? What we don't talk about is sometimes more emotionally charged than what is said. The silence says, "This must be so bad that it's unspeakable." Often the adopted child fills in the blank with stories much scarier than reality.

As an adoptee, the older I became, the more important finding out the pieces to my story became. Those found facts filled in the grief-ache, and the missing facts eventually became 'just the way it is.'

Some of my story is not pretty. But it is my story. I would not have wanted one person to have lied or protected me 'for my own good.'

Adopting a Child - Bonding With My Adopted Child

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Bonding with your adopted child is the most vital step in your relationship with your little one. This is not a difficult task, especially if your adopted child is only an infant. The younger it is, the easier it will be to bond. However, if you have adopted an older child, you might need to have lots of patience before you can develop a close relationship with your child.

For most parents, whether adoptive or otherwise, the love for their child is almost immediate. This parental instinct to love and protect your offspring is usually triggered off automatically upon seeing and holding your adopted child. However, for some parents this may require some time before the emotions set in. Nevertheless, the bond will slowly develop over time.

Why is Bonding Time Important?
It has been discovered by researchers that children who have shown better results in school are usually the ones who have cultivated good relationships with their parents. Those who are able to relate well with their parents are also more likely to grow into confident and well-adjusted adults.

This is especially important for adopted children as they tend to feel insecure and lack attention. Thus, spending more time to find out your newly adopted child's needs will help you in the long run as your child will slowly learn to trust you and open up to you willingly.

Bonding Tips To Help Adoptive Parents

Nothing will succeed without effort so in order to build your bond with your adopted child, you will need to allocate some time to spend with him/her and stick with it regardless of how your child might reject you in the beginning. Below are some tips which can help you in building this bond.

1. Touch

Touch is actually the best mode of communication with your little one, especially for infants. You can start off by holding your baby close to you or cradle him/her in your arms whenever you have the chance. Even a pat on the shoulder or a hug for praise or to comfort your child will make your child feel good and loved.

2. Sing or hum a tune

It is not important even if you are lousy at singing as you do not have to be a super singing in order to sing to your child. As long as you are able to carry a tune, you are fully of singing popular nursery rhymes to your little one. This is useful in getting your child to feel at ease with you and it is also thought to help in the language development.

3. Talk to your child often

It does not matter if you have adopted an infant or an older child and he or she may not understand what you are saying. Your child will still love to hear your voice. It will also help to build up your child's confidence that you will always be there for him/her despite your busy schedule. Ensure that you talk to your child from wherever you are in the house even though you are busy with housework and are unable to sit next to him/her. It is comforting enough for your child just to hear your voice.

4. Make full use of everyday activities

If you have adopted an infant, the usual diaper-changing time is a good bonding period with your child. Take full advantage of this time to play, cuddle, kiss or just simply talk to your child. It is important to tell your child that you love him/her and that you are glad he/she came into your life. Find any and every opportunity to tell your child that. Have a family time together every night without the television on.

5. Massaging your child

There are massage classes that you can attend if you are unsure of how to go about doing it. A daily massage for your child, even infants, can go a long way in providing an opportunity for you to touch and be close to your child. Not only will it help in developing a bond with your adopted child, it can also assist in your baby's physical and mental growth.

There are many little ways in which you can successfully develop a bond with your adopted child but it is most important to persist and not give up even if your older adopted child is not receptive to your approach initially. That is because he/she is still not use to the love and attention from you and need time to get adjusted to the new lifestyle. Bonding is a vital step to a strong relationship so find time to do it despite the fast-paced life that you might be leading. It is time you learn to relax and take pleasure in spending time with your child.
