The U.S. Social Security Number and its history

The U.S. Social Security Number (SSN) is a nine-digit number by the Social Security Administration, U.S. citizens, permanent residents and temporary residents working groups. The original purpose of the NHS was to follow for individuals and their incomes for tax purposes.
